Finally… it's Alive! It was something that should have happened a long time ago. The re-design of our own site had fallen through the cracks for long enough. Several reasons lead to the new development; we felt our site needed to be easier to navigate, and we also wanted to give more prominence to the work we've done. Continually it was pushed off for other projects, and it really wasn't until we set deadlines that we were able to make it happen. Please, take a minute to visit the new site.
We've had some great feedback already and would love to hear any comments you might have. It's our intention to keep the site more current and up-to-date. Stay tuned, as we've had the chance to work on some unique projects over the last few months.

Preparation and Planning
Unfortunately good intentions don't always guarantee a favorable outcome, and developing a website is no different. We all know how time flies, and without a plan you can quickly find yourself in the same spot you were last year, intending to update your web presence but not making any progress. This is the spot we found ourselves in recently, as mentioned above. It was a matter of finding the time, and the fact that web developments don't just happen on their own. It's a process that takes research, energy and from our experience a plan with clear objectives and target dates. This, combined with the right development partner, will allow you to achieve those good intentions you started out with.

Schwarzkopf Professional
We've recently had the privilege of taking on some projects with Schwarzkopf Professional. Schwarzkopf is a multi-national company with their Canadian headquarters in Mississauga. They provide salons with products in the categories of hair coloring, care and styling. Schwarzkopf, always in tune with the spirit of the times, has repeatedly revolutionized the market with technical breakthroughs and innovations, and rank among the market leaders.
We've had the opportunity to work with several of their brands, coordinating with the brand managers to develop very target specific concepts, while providing image sourcing, project management and printing solutions with some pretty tight turnarounds.

Developing a great concept
At the heart of any great design is a great concept, however most people only want to pay for a great design. Of course the concept is always part of the process, but it's rare to end up with a truly great, or unique concept, without investing in the concept stage. Based on the project budget, we determine the amount of time we can spend working up a concept that fits the brand, message and audience. I think it's one of the reasons why our clients keep coming back. The concept, as well as the design, is definitely something to consider the next time you're establishing a budget for a marketing initiative.
